Well, after screwing around for 4 months trying to find the time to do a full paint correction on my ride I handed it off to an amazing guy for a full week. He works on Pagani's, Ferrari's and has some pretty amazing products he's developed over the years. Really amazing human being and probably the most OCD paint guy I've ever met. I'm beyond highly critical of paint since I mostly do my own and he knocked it out of the park, highly recommend ECO auto solutions.

Best picture I could get with the current light but I'm sure it's good enough to show the quality of the work. Car has never looked better. I'm very impressed.

He removed emblems, cleaned weather stripping, wheel lugs, removed slight orange peel in a few areas. It was really a panel by panel custom job just doing what the car needed on each panel. I'm pretty good with my buffers and compounds but he made my efforts look extremely amateur. So I guess all I did today was pick up the car.

Your car looks fantastic! That's high praise indeed for the guy who worked on your car, since I know how particular you are about detailing.

Do you know which products he used for the final finish? Sealant? Wax?

Not me, but my wife rode a 2010 Turbo that the husband of her good friend (they worked together for five years) recently bought. My wife's is a 2011 Carrera S cab but she said the whole dynamic of a) hardtop and b) the extra 115 HP was absolutely exhilarating. Black on black, exterior very similar to my wife's except for red stitching on the dash & seats. The husband is a handsome and very successful African American plastic surgeon who had no reservations about taking his car up to 120 before dialing it back down. I'm glad I stayed back at the party! I didn't have my Hershey underwear on.

So that's kind of the rub...it's his own product and it's a sealant. Apparently, it lasts years but can be applied on top of to hide any small imperfections created through washes(Micro swirls). I was a bit skeptical at first but Pagani has endorsed his system so I'm taking a shot at it. What I can say is it does add a measurable thickness to the clearcoat and it's glossy and deep. He gave me a enough for about 10 applications on the car and said a lot of his clients will re-coat as the car gets a few micro scratches in 5-6 months.

Not today but last couple of months:
1. Added center radiator
2. Replaced starter cable
3. Repainted hood, front bumper, rear bumper, wet sanded car, added expel film to bumper fenders and hood.
4. Car to leather shop for a treatment of leather and plastic parts
Looks new :-))

Was careless opening door in my teeny garage and banged the door against the cinderblock wall. Dang it. Its about 3 inches long on the sharp edge of the door that sticks out the farthest. Ruined my day, but i know its not that big a deal in the big scheme of things. Just have to get the paint guys to fix her up.
