What did you do to your 997 today?

Weather starting to warm up here finally. Pulled the cover off for the first time in 6 months and took her out for a boot. What a rush! Got back and did a tranny flush with Mobilube PTX, engine filter, cabin filter and added a key chain.

Took my wheels off and cleaned them last week, this week was new stone guards and Rennline phone mount, then a drive through back areas south of Sacramento (stayed in the car except for the photos, no contact with anyone). It felt great to get out for once.
Old stone guards, clear or yellow?
New guards, definitely clear!
Rennline mount
Empty roads out here, but plenty of cars near home

Horn swap
looks like you have a 997.1 with a 991.2 wheel swap. How did you do it and how did you get the horn and airbag to work? Did you do it or Dealership or Indy?
thanks.
thanks.
Didn't do all of this work today, but installed it all today. I think that counts
After installing the numeric shifter last month I thought it was sad to hide it under the stock shift boot...
So I bought the shift trim from a Tip 997, took off the gear selector piece, extended the top forward about two inches and then flocked it.
Then worked with WC Lathe Werks on a Titanium shift **** and shaft. I had them extend the shaft another inch lower because I wasn't running a boot and I wanted it to completely cover the metal shaft of the shift lever.

Installed 991 style smoked LED running lights and smoked LED side markers, loving the look! Picked up a new set of wheels too this past weekend
I like the look of those running lights more than the dectane ones.

It really depends what you have and what you want.
In my case I had no multi-function and didnt want multi-function. So it was a direct swap, no programming, no issues with airbag or horn.

You need a airbag from a newer car. 911, cayman, boxster, macan, panamera, cayenne all use the same airbag. Its the one with the chrome ring.
