Actually I have a GT4 in mind, but can't have 2 Porsches on my "bucket list". I can't explain to St. Peter when I knock on his door. The GT4 would be my last Porsche and he just might let me enter the gate :>)

You're assuming St Peter isn't a 911 guy!

There are no sins in having multiple Porsches. I gotta add an air cooled to my garage someday...

Default over the past few weekends

I've changed ...
- the battery
- positive cables
- negative cables
- current capacity bolt
- starter (PITA), had a severed ground wire, now cranks like new.
- Air oil separator (an unfortunate casualty of changing the starter)

current cap bolt was pretty corroded

This wheel can't be saved and so i have a new one coming in. Had the other 3 wheels refinished, so they'll be all brand new looking.

1+9
- new Lloyds floor mats from Lloyds

This is off-topic my apologies. Can you share how you attached your mesh grilles to the air ducts of your front bumper? (I'm assuming that's the Aerokit front fascia, correct me if i'm wrong.)

Mine should deliver this coming Tuesday, paint appointment is scheduled shortly after, then install possibly that weekend. All my research so far has made me assume my package will only contain the bumper, the lower lip, and maybe minimal hardware to connect it to the vehicle.

Do you have "retaining frames/clips" on the inside of the air duct openings? If so, did they come with your bumper, did you have to purchase them?
Or did you just use an adhesive of some sort to put the mesh grilles directly behind the openings.

Thanks!

Added the Porsche oil pan skid plate:

Also recently did the Ziza LED interior light kit and did the plate LED lights from Suncoast.

BTW: Race Ramps are awesome

I'm pretty much the only one that will see this, but the solid aluminum looks and feels classy. Maxspeed Motorsports. Was on sale over Christmas for 20% off.

Nice looking gas cap, you weren't able to reuse the string that came with the original cap?

I have that same one from Maxspeed as well as the matching engine compartment cap set, which I think may be NLA. Solid metal, high-quality pieces and much nicer than the shiny plastic Porsche version they call "aluminum look". Bought one of those first and sold it the next day before even installing it.

Gave her a bath and then tucked her in under a new car cover. With the kids, dogs etc always in and out of the garage there was always dust and junk on her so now she’s got some protection during her garage stays.

Replace the brake and clutch switches after having some cutting out issues.

Brake switch removal easy enough. Turn it 90 degrees clockwise and out it comes.
Could not for the life of me get the new one to turn into place. Prolly 20 minutes of under dash car yoga, leg cramps and forearm fatigue/failure.
Tried the old one - goes in easily. Compared the two and the plastic nipples on the new one were bigger, so I filed them down ever so slightly. Went in perfectly.

Clutch switch took about five minutes.

Didnt have a screwdriver that would access the other clutch switch, so I,m going to let my indy tackle that one.

So...did the new switches fix the issue?
