Cars falling off of jacks and jack stands happens more often than you would think. In my car restoration hobby Ive lost a few friends and had several injured. These were people who were long time restorers and/or professionals who were normally very safe in this business. You never know when a jack stand might be off just enough. After you lift the car give it a really good shake to see what happens...if you’re scared to shake it, don’t get under it!

I've thought about getting a QuickJack, the only time I would need all 4 wheels in the air is to do a transmission oil change, at least for me. This wouldn't make it feasible for me.

Wayne will teach you how to do the tranny while on jack stands!

And yup, it requires much patience with the under-body panels (both off & back on!)

It’s a bit thinner than the stock turbo wheel... but it feels classy and lighter (purely aesthetic).
Very nice, I did the same swap last year!

Mark,

Please PM me with the results of the steering wheel heat activation. Did you already have a heated wheel?

Thanks!

Since purchasing also added HREs P40s, clear side markers, new floor mats and had the headlights restored.

I covered console cover (used an upholsterer) in stitched leather from Ebay for 25.00 and painted console (body shop).

I want to cover steering wheel in black alcantara however everyone says not a good idea because it wears badly. It looks great on other cars however I don't want to go against other's recommendations. Any advice? I am not hard on my belongings.

do whatever you like.
The concerns are not wrong though, it is about the sweat from your hands. I believe wearing driving gloves will help/prevent that.

However, there are brushes to take care of and restore alcantara.

Added the gaskets from champion motorsports for the intake. I have no idea where I put the original ones (boxed up somewhere) but was glad to grab their last set.
