I put Rainx on my rear window and as an experiment I did half the windshield. After 2 hrs driving in the rain, the rear window was a success and worth the effort. The rain just flew off. The front treated half looked a little better for about 20 minutes then it seemed that the wipers removed all the Rainx and there was no difference.

Thanks. Makes sense as mine is a 2008 with 47k on the clock. Buttons look like new. I was thinking it might be an earlier car thing.

Andy92782, This is up along the Clackamas River in Oregon, nice little road and then you get deep in and it really turns twisty. Didn't make it that far because it also gains altitude and temp drops (was 40 degrees and could see snow up 1000' above) and there were some minor rock slides down plus occasional trees down and had been cleared. Eventually, it will dry up here but has been record amount of rain this month. Cheers.

You are alone, I like the look of my new winters far more than my sports. I may sell them at some point.

I watched my car drive away.

There was a dent in the hood (from the inside out) when I bought it last Saturday. Part of their IOU was to have it repaired. I hate letting other people drive my car, but in this case I had no choice due to schedule constraints.

The Cayenne diesel they dropped off in its place has the loudest and busiest interior I have ever seen and doesn't pull as hard as my X5d. However, I will always take the loaner as I like to test them out.

I was wondering about this myself. Thanks for the input and clarification.

Pre-traded it in for a 2017 C4. Anticipating delivery late April. Loved the car, but it was time to move on.
