Twas 80 dang degrees in Dallas today. Went cruising with the missus & got the 30,000 milestone out of the way! Gave my S a bath when we got home, cleaned the interior, and then put her to bed for the night. I am already looking forward to 40K milestone!...T

After sorting out cosmetics and basic maintenance on my new-to-me '06 S over the past weeks, today I went for my first real drive and photo shoot... a sunrise drive on the road to Samana, Dominican Republic. Since this car had mostly sat around since new (less than 7K miles), it needed a good run!

Nice.
Curious how you removed stickers from visors? They look like eyesores and drive me bonkers!

First night with the GTS. Family was out of town visiting family so I popped a beer or two and spent some quality time with the car.
-cleaned up some tire shine the dealer had put on
-Programmed the homelink remotes
-removed the airbag stickers from the visors
-hooked up my cheapo bluetooth solution. I used a bluetrip in the 12v outlet in the center console and ran the aux cable inside the center console. Pairs nicely with my phone and sound quality is good enough for me.I used the same solution for my cayman and for $80 it is fine.
-Set some locations in the navigation.
Next week come the fun mods...

I just used goof off on a rag, let it soak for a few minutes and the rubbed firmly beginning from one end. Take a little patience and some time to get it perfect but 10 minutes or so later the interior look so much better

I had to get new rear tires to pass inspection so I picked up some Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I have all weather Continentals on the fronts with a good amount of tread but I plan to change those out in the summer to match the rears.

Changed my WP
Changed out my Water Pump this weekend - Thanks to all the DIY'ers for the write-ups.
I used Doug_B_928 detailed writeup for most of my process

I have a 2008 C2S with 42K on the clock - Water Pump pulley was solid and no noise or temp issues. I noticed a small leak from behind the pulley while I was under the car - The coolant was not dripping on the floor yet. The impeller was inperfect condition with no cracks or missing pieces. I pulled the engine carrier so it was easy once it was out.
