She's a beauty. Welcome to the club!

First step as you'll find lots have done - replace those sidemarkers with European clears for a clean look.

Was gonna say the same thing -- especially on a silver car! (Yellow or red look OK with the stockers.) Best $40-45 bucks you'll ever spend.

Lucky to have a great car. Much, much luckier to have her though!

Hi all!

This is my first post.
I bought a preowned early this December, 2014.

2007 911 Turbo, the day I got it (BEFORE PICTURES) and (AFTER PICTURES) I put on my winter tires (Plasti Dip black), windows tinted to 20%, rear intakes Plasti Dip black, took off the chrome "Turbo" off the back and put pressure sensitive vinyl instead. I have 7.0 and 15.0 mm spacers on order!

I drove it in the rain

Not sure why by a feel more confidant in the wet with my 911 than any of my other cars. Maybe that extra weight over the rear wheels?

Changed the oil. Just need to add a bit more, but not too much.

[QUOTE=makemann;11854268]Put it away for the winter.

That is so sad. I think it would be terrible to put away a Carrera for several months because of the winter. I need my weekly Carrera fix.

Probably not the right place to ask - and I'm still learning the search function on this site - but are people changing the bulb out too or just the lense?

Welcome and very nice...I just had my Turbo wheels powder coated black as I don't require winter wheels here in Florida... Also had spacers (7 & 15mm) installed and it looks friggin bad a$$. You will really like that mod...

Also when you applied Plasti Dip to your turbo inlets did you remove them or do it on the car?

Bulb & lens is all one unit. So you get the peace of mind from having a new bulb in the clear corner as well. Plus keeping the old yellow ones as spares just in case (rock, wreck).

I'm not too mechanically inclined and it took me all of 5 minutes. Total.

Hi MY997, thank you and thank you.

Spacers are coming on Monday, Dec. 29th! I cant't wait.

To Plasti Dip my rear intakes I took them off the car. Quite easy to take off. You will need to mask the outer area with tape so the body doesn't get scratched as you pry it off with a soft plastic pry tool.

I have a PDF file I could send you on where the clips are and the way you must slide it to take them off. I'm a noob and I got them off and back on no problem.

Just let me know and I can shoot them to you somehow.

Later,

Ordered plugs to complete the 40K service next week.

Escaped the office early and washed my baby after 3 weeks of accumulated road grime during the storms we've been having.

Gave her a good drive and started teaching myself to left foot brake. Thanks to our Forum's drummer for encouraging me. It does create a different and better feeling around the twisties. I just needed to pretend two wheels had fallen off and I was on a Japanese motorcycle (left side braking)!

Looks like the attachments module is crashing so no pictures right now. All I can say is she is pretty (prettier) again!
