Better side view, settled about 1/4 inch since installation. No spacers, it sits pretty flush with the fenders with this off set.

  1. Went for the last drive of 2014.
  2. Filled the tank.
  3. Added STA-BIL.
  4. Put down four entry door mats under the tires ($1.88 each at WalMart).
  5. Inflated the tires to 50 PPI.
  6. Plugged in the CTEK trickle charger (winter setting).
  7. Set back the side view mirrors.
  8. Put on the cover.
  9. (now wait till spring).

A shame you're garaging it. Weather this winter is forecasted to be relatively mild until January. BTW I drive mine year around , with proper tires of course

Unfortunately I have summer tires on my ride. But I am thinking this spring of trying a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (which Consumer Reports rates as the best Ultra High Performance all season tire). What are you rolling with?

Man, we get so spoiled in so cal that we sometimes take things for granted. Our car winterizing consists of driving with the windows up instead of down... I can't imagine what it would be like not being able to drive my car for that extended period of time. Thumbs up to all you snow area peeps!

I bought the updated map and PCM discs from www.suncoastparts.com. The installation is quite easy. Detailed instructions can be found on www.renntech.org for paying members. Essentially you verify that you have the correct PCM software, insert the PCM update disc and let it update your system. When that's done, you insert the new maps disc. It takes 15 minutes or so. It was $325.
