Is that dash all Alcantra? I never knew that was an option.
The upper part of the dash is leather and the lower part is alcantara. I think that’s standard dash on all the GT cars but could be wrong. I’d have to look at the build sheet. I know this car has the optional all leather steering wheel instead of the standard alcantara which typically does not hold up well over time.

Nice; A buddy of mine has the same - no alcantra or PCCM though.
Here is what the interior looks like. It's very clean but tasteful. Alcantara on the lower dash, parking brake, shifter, and side pillars including headliner. Doors are a mix of Alcantara and leather. It's definitely a step up from the 996 interior.

Very nice, he has the GT2 folding carbon seats (that I don't really fit in), no PCCM and has relaced the wheel with an OMP unit - he's also downsized to 18" E88s, and hates the center locks.
Not to sure what the benefit would be to go down to 18s, but when we had them side by side the summer, they looked pretty good.

18s are the way to go on track cars if you wanna run Cup size slicks otherwise I see no point as you can get plenty of R-comp tire options in 19s. I love the center locks for street use but for track the 5 lugs are easier to deal with.
That's sort of what we discussed - he's running a Conti (R-ish) on it at the moment, and some brutally grabby pads that are eating his rotors - but it is as bare bones as he could get it, calls it his 'forever car'.
