What did you do to your 996TT today?

Yep, especially since it unfolded with fifty to sixty people standing around a transit hub.
Good times.

Gotcha. Maybe an increase in oil volume with the removal of the electronic level?

@2fcknfst very sorry to hear of your mishap. I would have a very hard time staying calm if someone hit my 911. Independent of age, gender, or attitude. Good luck with insurance and body work. Will this be first respray?

Just got back from the body shop, no other damage than a re paint of the cover, so I'll get the insurance organized then have it done after the trubos are installed...

Thanks, I just think ght it was likely someone's mom, and she had to be in her 70s, so if I went sideways, I'd just be being a dick, plus, it was fairly obvious she hits many things....

Add to the above, in retrospect, had there been and significant damage, I would have likely voiced a very different opinion.

Further thought...
May be a good time to teach myself how to remove the cover, as adding further damage would not be as irritating.

Removing rear bumper cover is easy.

Yes, but the damage I do when playing with things painted and/or fragile is spendy.
Now, with a damaged rear cover, I will try and remove it myself, so if I damage it more, it'll get painted shortly, so I will not get mad at myself.

Another reason I run the dashcams (Front and rear). Completely eliminates your word vs theirs arguments. Good thing you had an understanding officer and a belligerent offending driver to make it easy.

Interestingly, just got off the phone with insurance and she has already called and denied hitting me... no surprise there.

Rain doesn't help, and I did try and polish it out, no luck....
