Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could have kept all my past 911's, but this white one goes to the grave with me. It seems there's some overlap in our collective 911 experience....all great in one way or another!
indeed. And sealing the deal on something new very soon!
Removing the Headlights is a suprising easy Job done in 5 Seconds with the Tool supplied with the vehicle tool kit and also explained in the manual.
I took both assemblies to my body painter nearby and asked him having them sanded and coatet with 2K clear laquer.
Result is bejond any debate, will last very long and was fairly cheap. ;-)
It's been a long winter already here in Colorado's front range. Today was a sunny 45 degrees so the Unicorn received a nice mid-winter wash & wax in prep for the next clean day to go drive. I just told my wife that my love for the car is getting out of hand; you can imagine her response:/ I used Chemical Brothers White Light sealant to nice effect. Crappy pics from a crappy photographer.
Nice wheel, color and no tint. Well done.
My company wants me to move to Denver in a few months. How do you like driving up there? Is it tough not driving in the winter time?

Fantastic roads, and we get out pretty much year round. If we have to go 5 weeks without a decent rip it seems like a long time... You will however have to accept that your car will not remain a complete showroom queen if you drive it year round!

Had a "little old lady" rear end me in my Macan! Not much damage just bent the license plate and a small crease in the license plate holder area. But WOW what a mouth on that grandma! F'n this and that sounded like a teen girl in brawl! I just kept my mouth shut until the cops got there. In other news SUV cut the corner short and head-on No injuries!
@mrandell The weather here is pretty temperate due to the ~300 days of sunshine; 45deg in the sun feels like 60deg. Any road under 8000ft and exposed to sun does not hold snow for more than a day or two. As for driving, there are lots of great roads, but the issue is how much sand (luckily no salt) the DOT uses...I'd recommend an awd winter "fun" car with winter tires if you have the budget and space. Good luck with your potential move.

I drive the 991 year round in Vancouver, but the 996 gets parked in October. Over the winter months, an STI gives me what I need for a manual fix, and I'm not too worried about the body, so it's a good fit.
It is pretty amazing that Paul, and his very automotively diverse group of friends, can run pretty much year round there.

What am I looking at here? This looks fairly bad...
I view little old ladies a little differently now...
