What did you do to your 996TT today?

I just worry about that guy that stops too far into the intersection, reverses back behind the line and forgets to go back to drive. Light goes green and they back up into you. Then they tell the cop you rear ended them while they were sitting at the light. Without a witness or video to say otherwise... it really isn't why I run the dashcams, it's more for all the folks that think yellow line lane dividers are a suggestion, especially in blind corners, but after having someone back into the turbo twice while trying to park, within a month of ownership, I am pretty much sold on the benefit of having them.

‘sorry to hear about the accident and how you were treated. I too was very concerned about taking off my rear bumper to change out my exhaust. Looked online for directions and found this from pelican parts:
https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...er_Removal.htm
I did it in about 15-20 minutes. Super easy. Had my son help me hold the bumper while I removed the plug for the license plate light. That was about it.

Put a new front lip on in preparation to sell the car. It was soooo easy, which is contrary to what I've read online. Now I wish I would have done it years ago.

Got a speedtech 2.5 inch exhaust system yesterday and with all sphincters tight, held my breath, got all the tools out and gave it a shot with my boy to install. Had to finish off today since we all went out for dinner last night. It wasn’t as bad as I feared. I’m delighted to report that we were able to get the old one off and the new one in and completely installed with no extra bolts, screws or sundry remaining after the job was complete. the sound is awesome. And can’t wait to drive it. Unfortunately it started snowing again here in beautiful Montana, so I’ll have to wait for a few more days until the roads get better. No winter tires for this whip.

It's been a long winter already here in Colorado's front range. Today was a sunny 45 degrees so the Unicorn received a nice mid-winter wash & wax in prep for the next clean day to go drive. I just told my wife that my love for the car is getting out of hand; you can imagine her response:/ I used Chemical Brothers White Light sealant to nice effect. Crappy pics from a crappy photographer.

thanks John! Car sounds bad *** now. Even wife liked it and she thinks loud exhausts are lame. Everyone was impressed that it went into the car so easily and sounds so good. I have to say it’s been a fun little project. Hope it won’t be too long before I can get it on the road and drive it.

Redid my headlights with the sylvania headlight restoration kit. This kit is far superior to the othe one I used. In all fairness, there were some deep pits and scratches in the headlights in addition to the haze. They probably could use a third treatment as there is still some light scratches, pitting and haze but it’s far far better than what I had before.

Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could have kept all my past 911's, but this white one goes to the grave with me. It seems there's some overlap in our collective 911 experience....all great in one way or another!
