What did you do to your 996TT today?
8c and sunny all day... sounds like snow is clearing up there? Uncle lives outside of Victoria

Brakes are up in the air. Not an S so, PCCB Brakes are too expensive for me. Any suggestions on lighter than stock brakes? I want to keep stock size or at least be able to keep my 18s for my wheels. May replace the hood with carbon fiber and a fixed wing since my hydraulics are shot, too. Debating on the seats as no one really rides with me.
Question.... to take the passenger seat out, anything special to do? Special procedure for anything electric due to airbto or any thing else. Just unbolt and unplug or more to it?

Changed the belt last night for the first time. Straightforward but required patience and a few expletives while trying to wrestle and route the new belt into position.

You should sell me your Speed Yellow Turbo so you never have to wrestle or swear again.

Got the new bumper back from paint and swapped over all the grills. Removed the old hardwired radar and laser sensor heads while I had the bumper off. Also decided to install the rennline mesh grill protectors. Install wasn't too bad but they do create some interference with the ducts when going back on, requiring a bit more effort and pull to line things up. If I take the bumper off again, I will adjust the clips. I will say trying to get the temp sensor mounted with the mesh in place is a PITA

@mrdstr the rennline grill protectors install is on my to do list. Do you feel there are ideal locations to place the retaining clips to limit the interference?

Replaced the fuel filter and installed new AEM 340lph fuel pump and adapter. Also changed the rubber hoses in the tank. I tried to change the hard plastic submersible hoses too but they were really tight. Don't think heating them up were an option. Don't think they fail often.

I ordered new coil packs and spark plugs. I bought the coil packs from FCPEuro.com...I just may swap them every year now, just cause....
