Porsche provided two keys with remote controls (plus a valet key) and each remote key can be assigned an individual seat and door mirror position. The stored seat and mirror position is set automatically when the car is unlocked using the corresponding remote control. Each different key can be identified by sliding on one of the colored plastic pieces (red in your case.)

Once I get the bolt ordered on Monday, I suspect its install will be relatively straight forward, low risk to destroy anything else....

I only received 1 key with my car and it doesn't open the center console so I'm not sure what up with that. The fob doesn't work either.

I am extraordinarily impressed that you have retained those two little bits of plastic for the last 20 years. I tend to do the same thing; I have the tag that was supplied with my VW keys listing the key numbers that I was handed by the dealer in 1993.

I have every receipt for all services performed on my 996 Turbo, in addition to receipts for every part purchased for the car, since new.

Default Cover king custom sun shade.

Got the parts from pelican. That means I’ll be ready to schedule with my mechanic. I read this from JPM this morning. If this was to be the case only three people in the world would be smiling at the same time. Putin, Clinton and me. I would make me so much money it would be unreal, anyway it could happen and I guarantee shark blue manual Gt3 will be coming home with me.

22 shark blue Gt3 yellow deviated stitching, yellow seat belts and brake calipers, black with Alcántara interior. 4.0 stick sick!!!

Pelican shipment, ready to schedule now with my mechanic,

This could be the best that has ever happened to me in my life’s

Another boy that’s laughing 😂 on the 4th of July.

Pretty cool fits the turbo like a glove, money well spent.

Default Wash , cars and coffee, busted the tower.

5 am in the morning, got up to wash the Car. Some people have Cinnamon Toast Crunch for Breakfast I have Buffalo Trace. I love Saturdays I hang around guys that like the same stuff I do, the cars spent some time with their relatives. Get out of cars and coffees a WRX wants to race me, I kicked his as??? ? Then I decide is time to hit one of my local watering holes. Come on $2.50 pints drat beer 🍺 on Saturday, things are great here in Texas.

Not coffee but Buffalo trace.

A newer turbo, carbon fiber mats porsche option $1700.

996 .

Love the rear end of the turbo.

Cheap as hell $2.50 drafts. I need to buy another car.

Oil special with Tax $42. You get the oil filter and a $15 Gift card pretty cheap.

What can I say, my beverage carrier container.
