No idea. Assume played with different size belts?

Man, I hope nothing else was played with to make it work. Haha that could make an easy DIY challenging!

Tomorrow the belt comes off, alternator get installed and W/Th belt goes in. Will update.

Coils have gone up in price here, now $95/CDN per unit...

All in, $742 for everything.

6PK2285 is the standard 996TT belt, at least that what I have been using. It's still a mystery how they fitted it up.

I stand corrected - thanks theprf. Well the belt looks good but I still don’t like it! Ordered a replacement.

A buddy gave me a set of Girodisk front rotors that were expired, so I ordered some new rings. Some day I will replace the rears to match...

Nice result for a well modified 65K mile car... Only issue would be what anything better to replace it will cost!

----

Never mind! I see you scored a nice 981 GT4 for yourself!

Had a lot of fun in this section of the forum and with the car. It's going to a good home which is nice. I'll definitely miss it but I'm glad to have been able to experience the 996TT, especially with how mine was set up. Happy motoring guys!

Spent the day claying, polishing and waxing the car. Going to try and pull the wheels off this weekend and wash and wax them.
