The 991 Turbo got a bunch of mods/upgrades/tune-changes recently, so it's getting most of my recent drive time... I did give the Arctic 996 Turbo a quick wash though before covering it back up!

Her time will come soon. Very soon...

That is very impressive; out of idle curiosity, what was beside you?

It left in a hurry.

Thought about selling the silver tiptronic. Been driving it a bit more lately. Then I look at it. From every angle, in daylight and night, damn it's beautiful.
Mention my thoughts to the wife. When I first got it she thought it was too beautiful and flashy compared to the 930. Now, she berated me for even think about selling it.
Now that it's perfect. No more clunky noise from the front suspension, inner tie rods. And fuel smell, gas cap. 6 years and 20,000km later.

lol, they launch amazingly. However, that is their only magic trick. This one was downpipe and tune, which is the biggest power adder before bigger turbos; it’s fastest trap was 151.

Drove to visit my aging Grandma. Looks pretty good in pics, but has been sitting outside through the snow and not washed in months.

Drove the manual today. Damn that car is fun. RWD only it's easy to loose the rear and get it sideways. Can't do that with a bone stock tiptronic.
But in heavy traffic and when I'm tired the tiptronic wins.
I know rich world problem...

Something similar ran through my mind the other day; in the wee hours of the morning, on a cool day, I can get to the office in about six minutes - I noted once that the oil wasn't even warmed up properly.

On the way home, it'll take up to 30 minutes to do the same drive - somewhat defeats the purpose of the car to keep it in heavy traffic.

My drive is similar time ratios. I drive 30 miles to work, which takes 30ish minutes in the morning, but the same route takes 45+ minutes on the way home with traffic. The traffic keeps me right around 60ish mph with frequent stops the whole way home. Because of this, I really dislike driving the 911 to work...

was wondering if it is in fact, good for the car... I'm not hard on it when it's cold, but I can maintain a good clip in the AM due to lack of traffic, but the stop and go on the way home, plus the immense number of Bad drivers has gotten me thinking.
