Plus all the taxes in NZ, etc.

I was talking to the NZ sailors who are in our port right now, and I asked, "If gas is $3/L, at least you have good transit, right?" Turns out in Auckland, not so much :/

Took the silver tiptronic for a run to the beach today.
Damn it on the way back the fuel smell is back. First the cap fixed it then I found a burnt wire at the top of the sender unit connector. And the FP wheezes when primed. Guess it's time for a new FP.
Or could there be something else?

the sender unit connector probably has a hole in it, have you pulled the connector off yet?

Those are some big tyres; looks very good.

Did you use the silicone tubes on the Numeric cables?

Yeah, when we're pulling crews off other boats since our manning levels are so low? It's crazy.

Two of my favourite things, albeit, one is filthy and the other needs to have it's rubber broken in, which will make the first one jealous as the second one is going up the valley for a couple hundred clicks.

Was having a great day, got to put a couple hundred clicks on the bike, saw a good friend of mine, got to turbo, then, in the last couple of clicks on the way home, the Red Light of Doom presents itself again. Thought I'd fixed it, but apparently, not.

Long winter blues were extinguished today with a quick blast in the TT. Car started immediately and ran fantastic after its 5 month nap. The Tubi exhaust sounded glorious at start up. I saw .7 bar on one of the pulls after she was plenty warm and it felt great. Stock with no tune, so about all she really has , but its all there. Car goes in for coils and plugs, brake bleed and a few little items in a couple weeks and will be all set for spring/summer/fall driving. Really missed it but worth the wait.
