Funny, I am the exact opposite - if I look at it, I'll want to take it out, so under the car condom it stays until the salt is gone...

nothing in weeks, will be building my engine this winter if parts start having some availability (mostly if EvoSpec/EVOMS will make headstuds in time) and trans is waiting to visit Copans with me for some upgrades and refresh.
keeping eyes on things:

thanks!
Yup not sure if its worth waiting on EVOSP/EVOMS or not for the studs, msg'd John Bray and he said no problem/8-10 weeks but haven't had any response to me trying to setup an order since
factory studs will probably be my back-up...Raceware is another option but also backordered.

I have had good results with ARP studs in the diesels, another option perhaps.

unfortunately ARP has a HORRIBLE rep for the Mezger studs-always lose their clamp/stretch, incorrect spec'ing for the application , but almost tempted to try a multi-step heat/stretch method to get their clamp right...but not worth the risk vs hours involved.
Sucks, since I get ARP at wholesale

I just bought durametric for the turbo to run diagnostics on why my car is dying. It not all the time but died last week. Anyone used durametric?

Describe how your car is dying? Your car have a tune? There were a couple of dudes here with the same problem. Turned out to be their DME relay was going bad. Replaced it and problem solved.

Did not know that - on my 6.4, I am running about 55lbs of boost and they are rock solid, the more you know I suppose...

My car is tuned. APR tune, I haven't switched over the license and gotten an update yet. So it's not just shutting off but it's usually when I sit idle for too long. The car will start revving just a little without me pressing the gas pedal, then the PSM and ABS lights come on and the car dies. If I turn the car off and back on again it's fine. Last time this happened I cleaned the MAF sensor and it ran better for a few months. It's not all the time it's just intermittent when it happens and there's no set conditions that trigger it, except for being at idle.

When you plug in your Duramteric, I think you can monitor the MAF voltage - I am not sure what the value is supposed to be, but if it is not in spec, swap it out.
