I ran the EVOMS airbox for a short time. I couldn't hear or feel any difference, then my MAF blew out. So I went back to the factory airbox.

I am hoping for a whooshing sound, but now, I am unsure...

No sound difference in my experience too...ex-Evoms car back to stock airbox

Yea, I had the same box, not much sound difference than stock. Now with A/M blow off valve and MAFless I get some cool noises to satisfy the ricer in me.

If you are wanting all the turbo sounds, cancel your order and put the filters on your turbos. Problem solved…

Yes, if you have a mafless tune, you can put your filters directly on your turbos.

I think there would be a lot of crud buildup on them if I did that.

Yes, that is understood, however, the gains may be negligible as they would be drawing in hotter air off the manifolds.
