What do you want out of it? 1/4 mile machine? Airstrip attack? Make your passengers puke? More road track capability? Ridiculous burnouts at the local C&C? Dyno number bragging rights?

As mentioned, best bet is to pick a tuner you trust (we are fortunate to have SEVERAL great tuners) and have him put together a turbo upgrade, custom tune, possibly intercoolers and injectors, etc that will get you where you want to be...

You should look at upgrading your existing K24's with 18G wheels. It's a huge bang for the buck and you will be able to run with just about anything. You will need injectors and a tune. For reference, mine trapped 133-134 in the 1/4 mile. That's stock 991 turbo territory, but forget it head to head, the new stuff is very, very quick at everything.

If you decide to modify the car it really pays to have a solid grip on how you intend to use it, especially if you don't intend on tracking it.

No tracking. Just some exhilarating acceleration, whether at highway speeds or from the line.

The K24s seem OK but not having experience with anything else, it is difficult to make any kind of sound judgement.

I trust the guy where I bring it to, I was just looking for comments from the peanut gallery...

Passenger would be about 50% fun...

I am just about to tune my X50 with Sam. The maximum air flow from the K24s will support 575 hp @ 1.2/3 bar - beyond that you are just going to be blowing hot air. I suspect the Cobb OTS tune you are running (I am running the same one) is good for 500 - 530hp depending on the supporting mods (exhaust, ICs, air filter, etc.)

What I am particularly interested in achieving with the tuning is smoothing out the throttle and optimizing it for the new gearbox.

I'm dropping it off on the 4th for the oil change and going over. Sounds like I have a loose suspension part somewhere. Just a little rattle.

I hit 1.2 bar without issue on the K24s. That's when the head snaps back. I would love to get up near 600 hp .. and have it smoothly delivered.

Yes, the OTS X50 map is 1.2

Sam has informed me that in order to see 600, I will need a little more airflow - and fuel... next seasons project.
