What did you do to your 996TT today?

As mentioned, best bet is to pick a tuner you trust (we are fortunate to have SEVERAL great tuners) and have him put together a turbo upgrade, custom tune, possibly intercoolers and injectors, etc that will get you where you want to be...

So I know @kamlung is going to laugh at me but here is my question:
First oil change on the 04 is coming up. While it's there, I'm thinking about dumping $8-10K into it for more ... power. It's a X50, Kline exhaust and COBB tune.
What should / could I be looking at?

No tracking. Just some exhilarating acceleration, whether at highway speeds or from the line.
The K24s seem OK but not having experience with anything else, it is difficult to make any kind of sound judgement.
I trust the guy where I bring it to, I was just looking for comments from the peanut gallery...

What I am particularly interested in achieving with the tuning is smoothing out the throttle and optimizing it for the new gearbox.

I am just about to tune my X50 with Sam. The maximum air flow from the K24s will support 575 hp @ 1.2/3 bar - beyond that you are just going to be blowing hot air. I suspect the Cobb OTS tune you are running (I am running the same one) is good for 500 - 530hp depending on the supporting mods (exhaust, ICs, air filter, etc.)

I hit 1.2 bar without issue on the K24s. That's when the head snaps back. I would love to get up near 600 hp .. and have it smoothly delivered.

Yes, the OTS X50 map is 1.2
Sam has informed me that in order to see 600, I will need a little more airflow - and fuel... next seasons project.
