35% is correct as our state Has a 35% strictly enforced mandate. Archaic law to protect police officers. Doesn’t apply to trucks or vans which SUVs fall into categorically. So an Escalade full of gunslingers can roll with 5% but the law abiding elves that squeeze into the back whilst I drive roll with 35%.
Still looks better than the fishbowl I felt like I was driving.
Your 35% tint seems a little less than 35% in Alberta where it is similarly legal. How does one define what percentage of tint is in fact that percentage?
i need to redo the tint on mine... it's bubbling and i have issues seeing out the back of the car... i'll get around to baking the old one off myself before i send it off to my shop...

Portable steamer works extremely well - just peels off after.

i can't find my steamer anymore.. i had one when i had to peel wallpaper off my first house... i use the garbage bag and ammonia method... bake it in the sun for a few hours and it peels clean off...
The ammonia will make the car smell bad... I got one for suits a couple years back and paid $10 for it on Amazon, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think it would have automotive applications...
