Broke down, and insured it for the next three months...

Despite my most valiant of efforts, I could not resist the turbo draw...

What percentage is the tint? 35%?

35% is correct as our state Has a 35% strictly enforced mandate. Archaic law to protect police officers. Doesn’t apply to trucks or vans which SUVs fall into categorically. So an Escalade full of gunslingers can roll with 5% but the law abiding elves that squeeze into the back whilst I drive roll with 35%.
Still looks better than the fishbowl I felt like I was driving.

Your 35% tint seems a little less than 35% in Alberta where it is similarly legal. How does one define what percentage of tint is in fact that percentage?

Portable steamer works extremely well - just peels off after.

The ammonia will make the car smell bad... I got one for suits a couple years back and paid $10 for it on Amazon, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think it would have automotive applications...

You should have tinted the headlights too. I did a light smoke tint and it looks great.

Just did a 6000+km road trip and it was not as exciting as the 6km trip I did to get from the office to home.

Boy, do I like this ride, even though it only appears to be making .6 BAR at the moment...
