I was a little suspicious when I was a couple blocks away from home and stalled it off a red, so I went to a nearby stretch and matted it - .6, BUT, the ti sound was divine... and did not drone in the cabin - I will try and post a video of that later ...

There was so joy in me actually running the car that the leak didn't bother me as much as it should have.

Until now...

Oh, that sucks - most likely due to your BIG program and av gas...

And, of course, it decided to rain here today so I am not too inspired to climb under the car.

Rained today so I drove the Turbo to work. Missing this car! Have been driving my C2 a bunch since getting it back from the 3.8L rebuild and using the Elise while the sun is out. I'll probably pop the C2 and Elise into storage in October, and drive my winter beaters and the Turbo through winter.

Is anyone winter driving their Turbos? Has anyone ever mapped the car to "downtune" for winter/snow/slush applications so I don't just spin?

During the winter yes, snow, no. It doesn't like the snow with beefy meats on it...

Funny, I was so happy to just drive it after six months that I wasn't irritated about it until now. Doubly so with the rain.

You know, I love it - it belongs to a Dr. friend and I've been 'helping' (in fact, gratuitous efforts so I can drive it on a semi regular basis...) to get it set up for sale. Then COVID hit, so it'll be off the market until next spring, so why not. It is the short geared version (3000ish rpm @ 62mph), but it is almost pristine, save for a few weather stripping and roof issues - and just awesome to drive.

I am campaigning for him to give it to me, so it can live a happy life.
