I am going to sell my Techart wheels very soon so I cleaned up the spare set, did a little cosmetic work to them and threw them on. I think they look better than I expected. Now I need to get some crest stickers for the center caps.
The wheel is cool... Just looked at their website. How long did it take for them to make it to your specs or did they have that particular one in stock?
They custom make everything. Took about two months to get it
3 years later still chasing a knocking noise, over small bumps, from the front left suspension. Sway bar links, bearing, upper mount, shock, lower control arm all done. Last week it pulled the strut assembly and tightened the top nut with an impact gun. Noise still there.

This may well be my new "favorite" color for the 996TT. Love it!!

Thanks! She gets a lot of compliments on the color. I really like it because it is unique, but honestly if I were to drop the cash for a PTS that the original owner did I would have gone for a sportier color.
Silly question - how did you secure the mesh? Zip ties?
-Matt
Yup. I used zip ties. But I bought hardware cloth and cut it up myself. If you buy products specifically meant for this application from other sources, I'm sure it'll have different ways to secure it.
