What did you do to your 996TT today?

I've been using the Motive with brake fluid in it for over 15 years. I love it. It's fool proof as long as you check and periodically replace the hoses on it. No way to suck air into the system, don't have to unattach your fittings and constantly refill the master cylinder etc. I very rarely just bleed the calipers, I do a full flush annually and I'm good to go. I use ATE Typ200, if I start doing a lot more track events (Like 6+ the way I used to do) then I'll consider switching to SRF but there's no need now with my mostly doing auto-x and maybe 1 track event a year.

I suppose if you were a shop that was doing brake flushes weekly you could just leave the fluid in the pump and that would be super convenient, but that doesn't seem appropriate for a once-a-year flush.

So, changed the pads on one corner, took three hours, lost a piece in the caliper, modded the brake sensor wiring so it will never again tell me my brakes are worn (Thanks Capt. Obvious!) when they were not...
Funny how a worldwide pandemic is how I find the time to finally work on the car...
I also thought it was interesting that the original Brembo hardware was in fact nicer quality than the replacement hardware.

Qj isnt plug and play, need to buy atf when you get it. Jackstands are there for failsafe if the qj fails and breaks the locking mechanism.
Imo get it if you have garage space otherwise 4 stands and a lo pro jack or 4 jacks.
