i will also run another 4 channel audio control ACM 4.300 for the doors and rear speakers...

my car didn't come with a sub so i'm still deciding what to do, but i'm hesitant to add more weight to the car... i also like it to look as stock/stealth as possible... i'll see how the SQ turns out with this setup and if i'm not happy i'll look at custom building a box for the rear shelf... maybe fiberglass

Just throwing this out there, I have mine in a kickpod. Doesn't really interfere with passenger leg space.

Sub box is like 50lbs or so. The little kick pedal one i ls like 5lbs plus weight of sub. You can get a flat box x2 port them or seal them up extremely well with elastomeric on the inside and theyll hit hardish.

@euro850r is that a modified Bose sub from a cabrio? If so, did you have to cut out the carpet to make it fit there or did it fit as-is? I've been considering doing similar, but I don't want to cut a big hole in the carpet to do it.

Edit: Ah, you have a cabrio. Any chance you've taken the sub out before and have a picture of what it looks like with the sub out? Google isn't turning anything up for me.

Also, I had an 850R wagon back in the day. I loved that thing.

That's the standard sub location in a Cab.

I havent. Previous owner put a full JL system in here. But I do have this link from earlier research. I've had a lot of good fun/memories with all my 850R cars. Owned my first one for almost 15 years.
