no. i requested that ib-brands cancel my account. they did and my +/- #7586 some odd posts over the last decade all visibly remained, while my "heading" user name etc indicated i had been "banned". I was not. just a reminder, ib -brands owns all proprietary rights to content we all provide over which a "user" has no control.

circumstances ( read boredom/lockdown/ennui ) have precipitated my return. nice to see you too.

Got my Classic Technical Certificate from Porsche Friday.

This $500 certificate was ordered by the previous owner just before they decided to sell the car to Porsche of Colorado Springs. The dealer agreed to send it to me since neither they nor the previous seller had any use for it.

Overall a nice certificate but it isn't much more than 'wall art'. It does tell me that the previous owner really cared about the car though. That and the fact that it was under Porsche factory warranty until 2012. I didn't even know Porsche would warranty their car for 8 years??

Anyway, it's always nice to take a 996 TT with X50 and PCCB options out for a spin, hoping to help dull the pain of this Covid-19 thing. As a small business owner in a 'shelter in place' NJ, this hurts.

Drove it with a bunch of vh45 swapped 240 shells.
a swan within a row of fast pigeons driving down hwy 27 towards sebring.
Amazing how some of these kids can put together a drift car with less than 3k lol.

Removed most of the PPF from the car, have a bit left to do on the front bumper for another day. Headlights are now crystal clear!

Replaced my leaking roof rams on my 2004 cab. Got them from Top Hydraulics. Quick shipping and hoping their upgrades mean I dont have to do this again for a long time.

Rather than stretch down in the narrow opening to get to the bottom nut, I opted to take off the interior rear side panels. Made it much easier to remove / install.

Good for you - driving the young mind to a place where creativity and imagination trumps drugs and despondency. When you are finished your work there, we have 6 square block of that BS in Downtown Van - you are welcome here...
