What did you do to your 996TT today?

My first DIY oil change and new wiper blades today.
I hadn't realized until I put the new correct wiper blades on, that the cheap wiper blades that came with the car didn't have the little aerodynamic spoiler on the driver's side. I feel much more confident about traveling high speeds, now.
Tomorrow, transmission fluid change.

Lately i helped a buddy tune his 996 Turbo to the first significant stage and he is looking for real seat of the pants change. We proceeded with some parts changes and had his ECU sent in for a remap. Time to install and test.
Have you guys done this ? what type of results have you experienced ?

why would you send out the ecu? just flash it yourself check out cobb.
sorry but the guy in the video sounds like a moron. why is a Lambo owner who does no work on cars describing what a mechanic is doing on the mechanic's car? and why remove cats on a street car.
amateur hour. I guess anyone can post on youtube.

Does the Cobb have to be plugged in to function? Or can you load the "tune" into the ECU and remove the Cobb?

The guy on the video was NOT one of those expert tuners...

you remove the cats on a street car because catless allows for better spool and the less restrictive exhaust you have the more power you can create from the turbos. not an amatuer hr but actually a power upgrade. maybe you shouldnt comment on something you may not understand at all
