His reply pretty much sums up that he has ZERO clue about the "street" scene for performance cars.

I won't hold that against him unless he's a tree hugging Liberal that voted for Terrorist Obama or Criminal Hillary. lol

Great looking wheel; I'd judge it +9 on a scale of 1-10, (higher if the bottom point of the Porsche crest were pointed at the air valve). Are all four as pristine as the one in the single picture of your wheel?

Very nice looking paint too.

Thanks! Now that you mentioned it, I'm gone point it at the air valve as soon as I get the car back and post some more pics of the wheels

Yes, wheels are in perfect condition, as new. The entire car is as new, I got it with 19k miles three years ago, it's at 27k miles now. I treat it very well, and the xpel will be there to protect it for years to come.

I love the look of the stock turbo twists (I have them on my Turbo).

You obviously take very good care of your car.

After driving the 996t this weekend, i opened my old external drive and found poctures of my 996t at 96k miles when i sold her. She looks beautiful. New owner took aftermarket exhaust however i had stock exhaust on for Laguna Seca track day...

RIP my wallet - but it was time to get caught up on some maintenance items at 86k miles (but only 1 1/2 years of ownership). Done this week:
  • New Clutch
  • Welded coolant lines
  • New water pump (failed spectacularly last week at the very end of a 3k mile road trip)
  • Adjust e-brake cable
  • New coolant expansion tank
  • New coil packs (old are cracked)
  • Full detail!

Also getting some other random things fixed - washer leak in the front corner & fixing one of the muffler strap things which has broken loose.

I just went up and down the west coast in a 3000+ mile road trip and the car was a beast. But I probably worked some things loose... At least it waited to dump my coolant until I was 30 miles from home.

Hopefully this is one of those "waves" of service costs that I don't repeat in the near future!

My front bumper cover is currently being refinished to repair some cracks in the paint that existed when I bought my car. I'm taking the opportunity to add the Rennline wire mesh radiator protection kit. I'm still waiting to pick up the bumper cover, but in the meantime I went ahead and installed the wire mesh pieces behind the grilles. The fit is perfect and these will keep most of the debris out of my radiators. I cleaned them once, but will use a little compressed air to give them another cleaning before reinstalling the bumper cover assembly. Below are pictures, front and rear sides, of the factory grilles with the Rennline kit mounted and ready for installation onto the bumper cover:
