Sorry for the lousy pic, but I spent last weekend deleting my PCM1 and lower console, and installing a single-DIN "Continental" CD7416UB-OR along with the GT3 center console delete.
I love the console delete even more than I thought I would. The legroom is priceless and I like the look, too.

Manimal, looks great! I was planning to do the GT3 console delete and replacing my stock radio with a storage shelf. That Continental head unit looks great! I had never heard of them before. Do they have RCA inputs and outputs or are they an oem type of head unit?? Where did you get the Porsche logo for it?

Huh? How do you know the fuel pump is dead? Make sure it's not just a ruptured fuel line.
I took an uber home and grabbed all of my tools and came back in my other car; tested fuel pressure at the filter and checked in-tank connections. Cycled fuel pump relay using durametric and no signs of life

LOL, I would say that is dead. If I am remembering correctly you might want to check the power wires in the tank. I think they have been know to melt under certain circumstances.

It is such an odd situation to me. The car ran perfectly, not a single issue starting or noise with the pump. I even did a few datalogged pulls that very morning and no lean condition apparent; 10 minutes later I parked the car in the parking garage and when tried to start it again, it cranked, ran for less than a second then died. Tried to start again, and it sorta cranked then nothing.. Drank up the fuel in the lines and now won't fire at all obviously.
I figured if it was going to fail, it would at least give me some sort of warning symptoms. Just completely out of the blue.
Typically electronic fuel pumps really don't give any warning. I had one go years ago on my Taurus. Drove it, tried to start it 10 minutes later, and completely dead. The fun part of that one was that you had to drop the tank to get to it. Of course I had just filled it up to the rim too.

I stumbled upon them while looking for an OEM-looking HU. Like a lot of you, I can't stand the look of most aftermarket stereos, especially in my Porsche.
They are OEM'ed by http://www.kienzle.de/p_cmn_audio.html. If you'll notice, they also make similar VDO-branded units with blue backlighting. I have no idea what's up with the Continental tire branding. But I like the VDO association.
I was considering simply getting a Becker CR-220 or CDR-220 and adding an aux input, but I was discouraged by the price of what nice examples are going for these days (plus the additional cost of the aux-in / BT module).
The outputs are speaker-level (same as the inputs to the Bose amp, if I understand correctly) and not RCA -- it is very "OEM style".
I bought the unit, a plug-and-play wiring harness, and the Porsche sticker all from "Bergvill F/X" in Norway:

Replaced previously mentioned dead fuel pump with Walbro 450 LPH pump. All is well

I found lots of DIY's going from single-DIN to double-, but not vice-versa. Definitely not rocket science, but a bit of a PITA, so I was planning to post a DIY and some better pics when I got a chance.
Happy to go into more detail on the HU, as well. I can already say that I've explored all of the menus and it's pretty simple. It really is like an OEM head unit with Bluetooth.
Consistent with the lack of RCA outputs, there are few "audiophile" features you'd expect on a typical quality aftermarket deck (no crossovers, no time alignment, etc.). The "EQ" consists of preset profiles. In another context, I would consider those things dealbreakers, but my priorities here were simply aesthetics and Bluetooth/aux-in connectivity (and for the short term, OEM Bose amp and speaker integration).
