I replaced the struts on my engine cover and frunk. A surprisingly gratifying job. Now my car won't try and decap- me while looking in the engine bay or getting out my groceries.
On the worn center caps use a mid-high cut compound with a wool pad (on a power drill or rotary) it should cut the crest coating down. I had a set that was not that bad that I was able to bring back to like new condition.
On the pinned coolant lines is there any possibility of introducing a leak to the system by drilling these new holes. There are no gaskets for the screw I assume.

Believe the installer used a sealant on the screws before installation. Pressure tested at the end of the install. What else to be done ?

I haven't seen it in person, haven't verified service history, and I didn't get a PPI (yet). I'll obviously have to check everything out before handing a check over.
It has a clean CarProof (Carfax) and appears to be a one or two owner car.
It looks reasonably priced within Canada, and I don't have to worry about importing it from the US with duties and taxes.
I do have a pretty long drive to get it home (6200km ~ 62 hours), but it is a good excuse to experience east of Toronto.
Does anything in the eBay listing/pictures stand out for trim/options/features or concerns (other than lack of info)?

Using the Porsche VIN hack I got this info:
From the pictures, the interior appears to be black or dark grey - which doesn't seem to match the 'Graphite Grey' pics I've seen online. The dash appears to be full leather, but the doors don't have a seam like I've seen in other pics. Ideas?
If that is a picture of the interior then the interior was gutted and replaced (graphite gray is very gray, you would have no doubts). That appeared to be a black partial leather interior. Although, I don't believe any 996/986 model came with a full leather dash and vinyl door cards. The full leather package was leather dash, doors, and seats. All 996 TT's in the US come with full leather as a standard option.

Thanks for the response - yeah, I'm not sure what's going on here, but it does look like it was replaced.
I did the VIN lookup on a different 996 Turbo with Graphite Grey interior and it had the interior code 'CE' and listed as 'Graphite Grey Full Leather Int' whereas this one has 'CZ' and ''Graphite Grey Full Leather'.
This one seems to have very few options on the build sheet vs other cars, so I'm wondering if it was ordered that way or if Canadian cars don't show up properly/completely.
The car has a clean CarFax and CarProof, so no reported history (accident, fire, flood, theft, etc), so perhaps it was just too much grey for the original owner?

I need to do more digging.
Be careful buying without first seeing and driving the car. I bought mine sight unseen (with a clean ppi from Porsche of Halifax) and when I picked it up it had seized wastegates and a slipping clutch. It was still a great ride home to Ontario though.

I paid $10 and got the complete build option list from Suncoast Parts. The car is definitely supposed to have Graphite Grey interior with leather dash and doors. It's also supposed to have X47 and X58 which are carbon/aluminum/leather shifter and hand-brake, but I can't tell from the pics.
I'm willing to bail early or fly back empty handed if anything seems off.
