I also seem to remember hearing that wavelengths tending towards yellow tend to be more visible in/through fog.

Had the engine compartment, undercarriage and inside of wheels cleaned with dry ice the other day. Almost looks brand new. I think this is an every 2 years must.

Rear brakes Monday

How much does cleaning the underside of the engine usually cost?

I have never heard of cleaning with dry ice, how is this applied?
Thanks.

I have seen it done, its similar to sandblasting with little to no chance of marring.

You can buy a dry ice blaster for about $3K; maybe less, but that's what I found.

The entire job took about 7 hours and cost $850cdn. As someone said it s similar to sand blasting without any abrasive. It looks so good and because it will help preserve the underside I will probably have it done every couple of years

So help me understand why this will preserve the underside? There is actually a coating (Cosmoline) that is applied to the underside to prevent corrosion, my guess is your cleaning removes this? Is this a good thing?

Now if you don't drive your car in rain or snow, and you like looking at your car from your back lying down...then what ever turns your crank...LOL

In case you didn t notice this is a DD and I live in Canada. Guess it doesn't rain in the Republic of Boulder, but it rains and snows in Canada. The engine compartment was also done and it is immaculate.
