Swapped the stock exhaust for a modified factory one that we modified at our shop.

Thank you to the PO who rounded all of the nuts on the turbos making a short job painfully long...

or.. you could tell? what those godforsaken early 01' build "wart".errr......."bumperettes" have to do with my spinning out and my rear tires and their rapidly diminishing tread depths!?

if you point out to me ANY kind of corollary then you win a prize of YTBD "value".

Where did you spin? Your street tires should actually gain a little traction in dry conditions with less tread, that's why they get shaved. I would not think your tires would actually last long enough to age to the point of less traction.
Was corner exit oversteer throttle or corner entry lift off throttle? Be careful in them canyons!

Brought it out of hibernation - Oil change, adjusted tire pressures, and a 200 mile drive to get the driving season started

long story short: i live directly above the ocean and the long and winding road to the top is all switchbacks. i took one right-hander with a posted recommendation of 10mph, probably at 40. it was just enough to fully swing the rear end around to a 45 degree angle and with my immediate response simply being turning into the slide and lifting my foot of the gas. ( i'm also rwd w lsd ) i know the road and i should've known better, but it got my adrenaline up quickly, and the car performed flawlessly given i took the turn way too hot. all remained well as i was still in 2nd after a violent snap of the car "straight after the rear end corrected and i simply continued on my way at a bit slower rate of speed. these are roads with virtually NO traffic and would have to be seen to be believed. the only potentially dangerous aspect being that the ocean side of the hill affords one a view of what must be an unimpeded view of the pacific ocean for a thousand miles in any direction. most people that go over the edge, never come back.

it truly is or could've been a dead man's curve. but all is well, thx for asking.

the tread on my current p zeros is worn in the center with remarkably more rubber/tread on both inner and outer sections of the tires. they are not overinflated, it just seems to be how they "wear" and the toe links don't seem to help the center, only the rapid inner tread wear.

i'll be more mindful of this particular corner moving forward

Got my Raid steering wheel from Gert, and decided to tackle the install myself. Face still intact.

Nice wheel.

But you put it on the wrong side!
