Got my Durametric! I was interested to see that I had 2409 hours 'on'... Love the software, it even appears I can program a new key!

Uploaded my UMW tune Thursday night. Tightened wastegates 2 turns as per UMW yesterday. Dropped GT2 decklid off at body shop yesterday, getting it installed August 20th!

Default Latest Cobb tune from sam@ bydesign

mafless 3.8 tune coming along nicely! The mod bug hit me way harder than i'd like to talk about after having the coolant lines let go a few months ago. Thanks again Sam! Appreciate the skill, quick response and patience dealing with a uneducated newbie in over his head! LOL.

No, you can not program a key with a Durametric. The professional version has very limited programming capabilities. You would need a Porsche tool like a PST2 or PIWIS to program keys.

Interesting on the OZ wheels. I was just going off the weights I found listed online. But hey, its on the internet it must be true😎. I am going to feel those extra few pounds my wheels just gained next time I drive it.

@third-reef, i don't know the diff b/t the ti lugs or whatever brakes you have so its quite possible you are in fact lighter, should be, just maybe not 10lbs? i don't think it really matters all that much, on the street or beginner level track anyways. Cool about the ti lugs...spendy. You are right too, the OZ are super light at a grt price.

Had some intermittent throttle codes, possible boost leak, and weird idle, so I pulled the throttle body, cleaned it up really well, cleaned and re-checked all the intake lines. Runs great! First time I'd done any work on a turbo (just replaced my '03 C4S with this car) and it was surprisingly annoyance-free to work on, despite being cramped.

That's interesting - when I went to one of the home pages (apologies, only played with it once so far...) there was a box to enter the required 'key' code and the ability to mate it with the car... I will investigate further, but that looked like a way to match the transceiver on the key, with the ECU.

From what I understand the 'key code' is about 30-digits and only comes on a cardboard tag attached to the key when the car is delivered. If that tag is lost, there is no way to recover the key code & match a key.

Yup. Already scanned my DME, did logs and sent them all to him and he sent back the tuned file. I uploaded it, then did a drive cycle and did some more logs, which I then sent to him. He gave me the thumbs up so that's all done.

I adjusted the wastegate rods as per Kevin last Friday.

Today I picked up a set of lightly used GT2 front brake ducts.
