what i was reminded of..my car doesn't really enjoy running in pkg lots @ 2mph.

Today was the All British & European Day car show in Dallas which was a good as any excuse for a little road trip. Porsche had very good representation (356 to GT3) along with most of the GB car marques. Some very nice early Jaguars ('55, '57 and several cars from the early '60s). A small gathering of Morgans, Minis, MGs galore, Aston Martins, RR, TVR, Triumph and even a lone Messerschmidt.

Had a nice time looking at them all.

The drive to and from was pretty good too.....

brings back memories. i had the same car only was a 54xk 120M. same body style and named so for its ability to hit 120mph.

i drove it into a living room which is why a kids first car should never be a "nice" one.

Got it back from Cantrell motorsports last week (GT2/3 slave upgrade) and gave it it's first wash. Tried Griot's spray on car wash for the first time. Work pretty well!

Got the clay bar out and took care of a few spots that weren't coming off in my weekly washes. Debated claying the whole thing, but really didn't need it, paint is smooth as glass except for a couple of areas.

Wrapped the roof in gloss black. Cheap Thrill. Might rip it out next week if it does't grow on me.

Replaced my front spoiler lip with the ebay $75 one. The box had a set of mounting instructions that was incredibly complicated, stated double sided 3M tape and adhesive enhancer were required and ended with a strong recommendation to have it professionally installed. 10 minutes later it was done.

Also replaced the right side rocker panel cover. It was cracked by PO. Bought that OE Porsche part from Jason at Warehouse33auto.com. Fit perfect and took 20 minutes to install.
