Well a $2100 laser is probably not in the budget for now. I may pick up the camber gauge. I was able to put the gauge on the rotor through the wheel so that gave me a good surface for repeatable results.

Im out of small shims for now so i couldnt really change the results at this point even if i wanted to.

Wanted to thank the rest if u for the compliments and encourgement.

Yes, I wasn't suggesting you should go out and buy one, I didn't pay anything like 2100 for it. It's still a major pain in the *** to set up and use. I would not trust myself to set up a 996 anyway, there's too many adjustments. I use it on my VW which eats front wheel bearings for breakfast.

I can't wait to see how your new car runs on the track. It looks really good.

Man is it hot at vir. So far motor dont give an f . Still fighting precat o2 signal issues on both banks but the cars default "failsafe" maps are doing there job... i think?

In prep for this weekend i went through the suspension 100% and everything i did was fine. Scaled the car to check the shops corner balance and they suck. He is getting it back to get right. So swapped the front tires out to another set to because i was getting so off throtle darting. Newer tires feel much better.

This is what a dash should look like after 30 min of flogging at 99*.

I'd say 30min sessions in 99 degree temps on your 2nd time out on track with your concoction a pretty good test my amigo.

Have an adult beverage or 6 to celebrate.

Thx guys. So the car is deff faster but its still has similar powerband characteristics. If u drop below 4k rpm its dogish. I just need to get 500rmp faster in a couple curves. Its nice that i dont get walked away from un the straights.

The other thing u need to look at is the car as a whole. Porsche did a very good job at matching components to make the car better then the sum of its parts. Although u can swap in almost any gt3 part the car really shines as a package

Good morning from VIR

great. Glad to know no problems. If you need a phone buy an IPhone 12 Pro Max , I’ll appreciate your business, my son and wife have them and where you can get 5G coverage fast
as heck. Also the camera on those phones is amazing theater quality or better.
