Meh its getting parted out. I have run thr numbers and they dont work for keep the car in tact. There is a lot of small body damage that would really add up if u wanted it to be a good gt3 car. The chassis will go to a race car team to pull it out and have in hand for a spare.
A well done c2 with a gt3 motor, trans, brakes and uprights would still be worth more then i would have into both cars after the part out.
nope in perfect shape. I had to remove it because of how we loaded it on the truck backward. There is a tire rack on headache rack of the rollback that it didnt fit under. I have to decide if im gonna modify my areo wing or repaint the gt3 wing. It just depends on how much money i can get for each and how much i need to recoup.

i plan to be fair about selling stuff (ill be researching the used part market) but i will need to make as much as i can off the remnants......let the bidding begin .

Rock n roll!! Is there a line on how long it will take to have it running? I'm in for $5 by the 27th.
Im hoping for this. I am going to the beach that week for the 4th and it will drive me nuts all week if its not done.

Yea, im not shy about the costs.
It was $50k for the whole car. He was offering the motor/trans for $32k. It really should have been $40-45k but this market is crazy. I should be able to get $20k back out of it and still keep the uprights and brakes. I just didnt want to be nickled and dimed by small parts. There is not really a way to do the swap with out the whole thing.
Oh and i should be able to get $5-10k out from selling other parts off my car. My dream would be to keep all the parts i want off the car and net $20-25k not sure that will happen.

Thanks for the details. You are an awesome guy. I can definitely understand the issue of having it done prior to vacation. I’m in south Padre Island with my family and no one is going to screw my fun. Honestly if i wanted I could have a shop store and prepare my car every time I want to have a tantrum in the car but that’s not me,I’m trying to live my life like any day is the last one of my life, my sister passed away at 47 in McKinney Texas. So I feel like I’m in borrowed time and I’m going to live it up cheers.
Barbecue rib and chicken for dinner. 4 beers to washed it down. So happy hour $0.75 oyster, $2.50 bottle domestics, fried alligator, boudin, stuffed jalapeños with seafood and bacon, if you go , go there early happy hour 4 to 6. Don’t know about these crap of $6 for a Miller lite in the pool area. I’ll go up the private beach and get drunk on my coolers. Have two cases of miller lite and a case of IPAS. The hotel is full of Asians, I can handle Spanish,Portuguese, Italian And French even a bit of Mandarin Chinese. But these is out of my league.!

Well humid as hell in the mid-atlantic today but i got the motor out and trans split after work tonight. No real big surprises. I have to go over to the gt3 forum and see and see whats worth doing while its out. I was told the clutch has less then 15k in it so im gonna leave it alone. The coolant pipes are welded already with what looks like the shark works kit. Saves me some money and time.
