Mays CPI data. Used car prices on average 30 percent up from May 2020. The interesting number was the lowest increase in meat 2.3 percent. Hotels and airlines coming up too. Anyway it’ll be interesting to see within a year how things look. Unless I find a smoking deal I’m waiting to buy my investment car.
Aero kit, hollow spoke [bdronsick is gonna need a change of pants after seeing them] and a 7/98 build
I’m bidding on this instead of an FSI build. My 3/98 engine is good I don’t need a rebuilt. I’m hoping to get this one, I’m going to put it up as an investment, unless some wackos show up and drive the bidding thru the roof,

Not trying to criticize your bidding strategy, but you bidding on it 5 days before auction close going to drive up the price... which is what said you are hoping the "wackos" won't do.

since I asked the seller some questions. I just wanted to show I’m for real. No way this car goes for $12,996. I’ll just monitor it and honestly due to 2 minute rule that’s when you are really going to see who’s interested in the car. I have my buy price and like a stock that’s the max I’ll be paying for it. Twice at Pcar dealtank they have reached out to me in two separate cars and both times I told Adam that’s my max price.Anyway, we have a concourse show here in Houston at the North Porsche dealership this coming Saturday, this dealership is one of the best in the Nation. On the last show some people there where selling their cars, I’ll be on the lookout if I don’t get this one, plus wife is going with me to the show.

Investment would have been possible 2 years ago. Not today.
(More seriously, how does a factory aerokit not have the rear spats?)
I just skimmed ad, and just saw Aerokit. Does it show on the build sticker? My car has ‘factory’ Aerokit parts, but was installed at some point after delivery, ie not on build sticker. Same with my X51 kit. Might keep the purists away, but if it’s there and I looks correct….
Disgusting it’s missing the lip spoiler too! I just replaced my cup lip with correct Gt3 lip😎

Could still be possible, I have with taxes and everything less than $20 k on mine been offered $25 more than a few times I bought 6 months ago. You can always find the needle in the haystack. With real state and cars you have to buy them right. I bet you there are cars in mom an pops car dealers in little towns for affordable money. We just saw a dirty looking 300zx twin turbo white black leather 80,000 mile driver in a little town between south Padre and corpus, $5,000 .

It's got XAA on the hood sticker and on the window sticker.
My 1999 had the aerokit installed shortly after delivery by the selling dealer. No wing lip on mine though, and it will be a bit before I'm comfortable shelling out the $300 Porsche asks for that (but I will someday, I'm sure).
Installing the aerokit is no small feat based on the Porsche install manual, so a buyer must have really wanted it to pay a dealer to do it, even in 1998.

Right, but BAT is not a needle in a hack stack. If anything, it’s a site that draws some of the highest values for 996s I’ve seen about anywhere.
