great job with Another Climate Control Thread. You described it like no one before, just amazing.It helps me a lot, to go through the similar problem on my P944S MY87 with constant heat.
I've checked the all the basics. But I found out, the solenoid, which should operate HCV doesn't work. It simple doesn't react on temp control switch and provide no vacuum for HCV to close it.
Because I am not an electrician at all, please, can You describe more precisely, how to connect wires ?
For HCV solenoid test - when I use 12V battery, where shall I put wires in ? The "+" into hole 4 in A Plug and where with "-" ?
For recirc solenoid test - The "+" into hole 3 in A Plug and where with "-" ? For the resistance test across the three temperature sensors, I should connect ohmmeter with holes 9/1/2 in A Plug and ground. But where is this ground, is it hole 4 in B Plug ?
