How can you not feel 80 ft/lbs. Maybe it was the intake noise.

I still have my 2011 E350 Sedan, great car, tried the new ones, they were crap compared to my 127k mile low option car. Blower motor went on it, 200 bucks I swapped it myself thanks YouTube. Back to being perfect.

Has this thread become so numb to "prices keep drifting up" that when in the past week a 996 4s fetched $67k and a 996 turbo (x50) fetched $105k there is barely any discussion? Tell me again how much a 996 roller should sell for?

Okay I'll bite...
  • 2 owners
  • 3 pedals
  • reasonably low miles
  • clean carfax
  • extensive service records
  • extensive option list
  • purty colors
  • sold on BaT
I'll say $27K minimum, probably more.

So maybe prices are still drifting up. Not sure. I'll get back to you.
So you are playing GT7 also?

I'm hunting down a PS5 so that I can play. The Forza Horizon games aren't to my liking; I'm waiting for another mainline Forza game.

Let me know, I’m trying to find a group of folks that want to have fun and race on GT7. GT7 is a lot harder than Gran Turismo Sport, but that’s good because it’s more realistic - more of an actual sim - than GT Sport.

Not sure what else is there to say without sounding like a broken record. Prices clearly have been drifting up and they will. Historically, prices have slowed down a bit during winter months but spring is around the corner so they will probably continue to rise. 996 is still the cheapest point of entry for the 911 with some outliers with the 997.

Bingo. Anyone who wants a 911 will have to decide what their budget is going to be, and a 996 still has an appeal because it’s still so cheap (relatively speaking) compared to alternatives.

I competed in the GT Academy in 2013 at Silverstone raceway but since then gave up on Gran Turismo games in general as I transitioned to iRacing and then life got in the way. Is GT7 worth buying another console for?
