Read the reviews part
I think years ago there was a thread on here about them, or it might have been on 6 Speed

Similar with myself. I had it for a while, I waited until I purchased a Coolant Tank, Cap, Hoses, water pump, Thermostat and Coolant, then did it all at once along with UAOS.
But like as others have said, piece of mind

Three Wheelin'
That may be optimistic
i like the Car, the paint is rare. Now I feel like the mileage is going to take away from it. The mods are awesome I love them. The traditional guys are going to deduct value because of the mods. I believe the high watermark was my friends guards red with black interior that had 26k miles. The car had also been dry iced cleaned and it sold for $52.5k on bat earlier this year, he sold the car because he bought a 95 993. I was a fool because I could had bought that for low 40s, with the autoblip, ipd plenum and bigger throttle, hooker exhaust with soul headers. Since I didn’t buy it he put it back to stock. He made decent money selling the performance parts. I finished buying the soul headers with about 1,000 miles on them and he had a set of plugs and coils still brand new in box that I also bought. I hope I’m wrong, I’m inclined to think this way because both of my cars I bought at great prices and on both cases I got over $5,000 worth of mods that I didn’t pay anything for. Maybe a person with decent means that doesn’t want to spend the time and joy modifying the car will be the perfect customer. I will bidding on it but I will only buy it at my price.

Couldn't disagree more. People that are looking for an all original car are not looking at this one, although it's very tastefully modified. The car has right miles for it's age. I'd call it a low mile car with fantastic maintenance records. 19 years and 84k miles is less than 5k miles per year. I still don't understand why a car that has sat for most of it's life is so appealing unless you plan to buy it and have it sit some more. We've seen more than a few problems with cars that have sat.... Don't be that guy that was "saving" his car and then spent $12k on a new wiring harness because the mice ate the one he had.

Every day we get someone new on RL that just bought a 996. Then they ask what should the do to the car to bullet proof the engine. Then they ask about the suspension, then exhaust, then software, then, then, then, then. After they have paid 35k for their 996 and put another 30k into it, they are sitting at 65k and wondered what just happened.
Dave's car is looking pretty damn good right now.

I've posted it many times, a 996 purchase is like joining a country club. First comes the lump sum initiation fee, then come the monthly dues.
