The yellow 4s Coupe manual on BaT will set a new high water mark going into the spring/summer buying season. $65-70k wouldn't surprise me. Place your bets!

Wait! What? You mean I can finally be happy that I'm included? And maybe made an actual automobile investment? I'm good with it.
Actually, when I was out of town in Q4, there was a guy that came to the door asking my wife if she wanted to sell the car. The scavengers are out looking. She now has a set price to tell anyone else that asks. $150k. Same concept as quotes from companies that don't want your business.

You can't drive a Bitcoin...when the market takes it's next dump the greater fool theory assets will get crushed first, followed by hard assets such as collectible cars. In the meantime I plan on putting another 100k miles on my 2 (soon to be 3 with a 996tt manual cab) and then pass them on to my kids when I can no longer drive them. What they eventually get for them I won't ever know, nor do I care. The true pleasure is in DRIVING them.

this is the current high water mark. I think a similar price isn't out of the question. but it has twice the mileage. would be an indicator how fast values are drifting up.

Say what you will about Cabs, but with the top down and a Gundo/Fister exhaust hack, the car transforms into a totally different experience. No, I never use the wind breaker thingy that installs between the front and rear seats. I like getting blasted with wind. Keeps me feeling alive.

....Then I discovered Rennlist....and read enough to scare the hell out of me. So now I am spending big bucks for preventative maintenance against all the demons we know, fear, and hate....
Interestingly though, when I posted looking for ideas on needed maintenance one guy opined that I should change the oil, then drive the car and don't worry. Another guy suggested that German cars are often best just left alone if they are running well as is.
So now, my engine is out, IMSB, clutch, flywheel, and a whole bunch of other stuff has been replaced. And so far we haven't found one damn thing that was broken....

Prevent care is not wasted better to rip off the bandage all at once and then not worry about later I did all above except the solution which I’m waiting on spring appointment yes it has been expensive but it’s a Porsche so the alternative is wait till your engine goes and spend 25-35k on a rebuild or 5-7 on prevention

I have not regretted one cent spent on my 911s. I truly wish I could do my own work but I have no problem paying someone else who knows what they are doing. Everyone is entitled to be paid for their talent. I'm very good at what I do for a living and don't mind paying others who are very good at their profession.
