If the bores are good, it may be a deal. No reference to oil changes or other service history before 2014. So bore scoring is a real possibility. PPI with borescope is more than necessary. Could be a steal or 15k overvalued.

Buyers, do your freekin PPI/borescope homework please. Blame bore scoring on whatever you want, but at the end of the day it's about oil changes.

Let's get back to more pleasant lubrication topics such as whisky.

My goto is E.H. Taylor Straight Rye. It's unfortunately become more rare and therefore more expensive. Maybe I'm only remembering that it was good.
Whistlepig has many iterations. I was fond of the Farmstock 002. The new generic Farmstock isn't quite the same. I haven't had any of the more expensive versions, but I would bet they are really nice.
A local craft distillery rye I keep on hand is Diablo's Shadow, Devil's Eye Rye. It's a super clean rye.

Good luck selecting. Way too many choices and not enough ability to metabolize alcohol to try them all...

Here you go. Bourbon. Rye. Scotch. All excellent examples of the style. The Glendronach was actually a second choice. Because I moved to Maryland a year ago and the ABC stores here (an East coast government scam) are so poorly stocked with quality Scotch I am currently out of Springbank. The Kentucky Owl is an especially good Rye (the second best I've ever had next to the one and only release of Bookers Rye which is now unobtanium) but it's become stupid expensive.

Sorry Garret. Thread was taking on funeral qualities with weakening 996 prices and lousy examples for sale from lazy owners and questionable sales tactics. The floor is yours. Bring on some gems.

I promise, this will be my only post shidding up this thread.

Whisky that's currently in inventory.

I had no experience with Japanese whisky but I bought some based on what gbarron recommended in this thread. I'll report back after I've tried them out.

Its in excellent shape.

Wonder how many times the RMS and IMSB seal was replaced back in the day as they where replacing both seals often. Hopefully a lot, because they would have had a lot of oil changes early on in its life versus just one at 15k miles.

With 14 service records, which is on ave less than one service every 2k miles, there is a good chance they had a few, which works in the favor of no borescoring since it is such low mileage. But a PPI and scope are still a must. Probably has all of its original rubber/plastic parts including AOS. The buyer will need to earmark 10k for service/replacement parts and labor.

This will be interesting to watch. May be a very good find.
