I get about 29 on the highway and 18 in the city, and I never sit in the back 🤣 To me the GS 350 is the perfect sports sedan.

They never NEVER break

They’re inexpensive compared to the German sedans

You ever sit on your hand until it falls asleep?

or let a friend hold it while you move their hand?

I dunno, I had a Peugeot 205 GTi when I lived in the UK in the late '80s and it was a really fun car.

I don’t usually follow car price, but Wow, talk about price keep drifting up for the 996, now I noticed the price for the 997.1 are also off the chart, they are now starting around $60k and up. Luckily I bought my 2009 turbo coupe for under $60k OTD just 14 months ago. Price sure are getting ridiculous.

Forget 14 months... if you're talking about a manual coupe that would be the all time best price for a 997.1 turbo on Classic.com

Market value for July '20 was ~$78,000

Hell, even for a Tiptronic cabriolet I'd say you got a hell of a deal. Depending on condition of course.

Some or most of this is the trickle down effect of supply and demand. New cars are expensive and have a long waiting list due to supply chain issues. This has been pushing people toward the used car market, which causes an increase in cars that are one or two two years old.

Those looking for newer used cars may find themselves priced out of that market, so they look toward a slightly older car, and the market moves down the line with older and older models.

Great if you are selling. Not so good if you are buying like we were. We thought to trade our '06 Cayanne for something new or newer, but prices are just not favorable.
