Aren't those always broken and not running like 996's?

I believe the statement holds truer on old Jag's and AM's. But, once they all started to hit the millennium MY's, reliability had gotten better it seems.

I’m surprised my brother didn’t got a red interior. This is the biggest Ohio state fan I have met in my life, he always orders silver with red interiors. Anyway awesome car and he paid cash for it. PDK not for me.

I like a lot.

I’ll agree if you’re talking about the 997 and later.

The 996 is a sports car
But it can be specced as a GT.

Nailed it! That's exactly what I LOVE about the minimum weight spec 996's -- they drive very much like the late 60's/early 70's 911's (which were lightweight sports cars) -- but the 996's are far better in almost every way (much faster, handle better, creature comforts, feels as light or lighter than the early 911's due to combination of 300hp (vs 160ish (911e)) and power steering (making it feel lighter than it is). It isn't often that Newton's laws take some bruises, but they have in the case of the lightest versions of the 996's .

Agree also that options can add 400 lbs within the 996.1 range and make it more like a GT car (and options can add more than 600lbs over the lightest 996.1 if you include C4S Cab Tip).

That guy moves a ton of cars. Or they're just reusing old pictures?

Hi Tom -- given the long list of 996.1's in your signature, can you share a little bit about your driving impressions across all those cars for the various options?
