Prices Keep Drifting Up

When my left leg gets tired- I pull this 4 door paddle shifter out of the garage for fast easy driving- or the SUV most of the time- hahahahahaha
IMHO- the RS6 remains undervalued with plenty of room for the golf clubs, friends, and a bit of power.

Off topic but how has ownership been? Always thought these were cool but seemed like high cost of ownership.

I have owned it new since Jan/04. The main issue was the torque convertor. Fix it and forget it after properly corrected. Timing belt job every 35K is around $2,500 to $3,500 at reputable shop. There are some repair items that require engine out. However; if you group the maintenance items and just get them done, not all bad in relative terms for a car of this caliber. For example, get the RMS, Timing belt job, Bufkin coolant pipe, tensioners, and a few other things done all at one time- overall costs can be reasonable. A ton of info can be found at rs6.com. As I took mine out to the track on numerous times and 210K miles rolled, mine has required TLC (mainly transmission work) over the many years. Other issue is the rareness and some parts may become difficult to locate. However; some can be a real money pit if it has not been properly maintained. My plans are for it to stay in my cave until I exit this large Earth rock.
