I was watching that one. It had a lot of options. No X50 but still fairly loaded

Plastic air inlet "strakes" that copy the fins on the 997TT. They are drilled directly into the air inlet scoop and cannot be replaced without bodywork, or holes will be visible in the side of the car. Total disaster.

A lot to like there, stance looks great, the lobster's flow really well, paint is detailed, carbon bits on the interior. Someone mentioned air bag light and seller providing the removed steering wheel less the airbag, which does seem a little strange. Could have been deployed from the minor accident?

I'm liking that car a lot too. Very well presented. I think once the steering wheel was installed the owner never did the small mod that fools the system into thinking the air bag is still there thus the light. I think you add a resistor or similar which fixes the issue.

That car is local to me, but I've never seen it in town before (not a large town). If it was for sale a few weeks ago I would've been bidding on it.

edit:

and as someone that can't stand lobster forks, they look awesome on that car

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-carrera-4-35/

No XAA or XAB on the options sticker, just side skirts. So someone added the bumpers/wing/rear spat

I don't mind that look at all, actually.

That seller moves some hardware, and a lot of it 996 models.

Kinda nuts, but if average used car prices went up 42% (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas...=1000531967580), then these 996s might command a much larger premium. Savage title cars used to sell for between $10-$15k, so a 42% increase is not far from these new asking prices.
