I am having a hard time telling the difference between the 408 and 413 option code. Both at 18” ‘turbo look alloy lightweight wheel.’ My car has the 413.

408’s are Hollow spokes. They look very similar from the front. If they’re off the car and you look from the rear, the 408’s are smooth and the 413’s have indentations/voids on the back sides of the spokes (to lose a little weight).

408s also have an aluminum valve stem that has a recessed appearance

Easiest way though is to reach your hand around and see if the back of the spoke is smooth or ribbed

Smooth vs. ribbed rear of spokes, and stainless steel vs. rubber valve stems are indeed all differences. Actual Porsche part numbers for the #408 BBS wheels are:

Front 7.5″- 993.362.134.05
Rear 9″- 993.362.138.00

Wow, these results look (not counting the 40th Anniv. Ed.) quite pitiful. Has the "drifting up" already come crashing down?

The 18.5k plus fees had a 141k miles. The others with the exception of the 40th probably in my opinion needed some additional work. I pd 18k for mine in January with factory 408s and 91k miles plus a bunch of maintenance already done so I think I’m sitting in a good place. There always will be deals and there always be people that overpaid for the cars. Anyway I bought mine to drive it and by years end I will have driven it 7000 miles for the year so I’m extremely happy with that. Going to cars and coffee on Saturday. Cheers 🥂

None of those were really all that great of examples aside from the 40th. These two below are pretty nice conversely. Not huge money, but possibly low $20k cars few years ago.

'99 Cab at $32k

'99 Coupe $33.25k
