Yes, it's really easy for me to "beat-up" on "1970's PCV Technology" being used on 1999-2008 Porsche engines and calmed to be as efficient , as good, or even better !..
Slakkers Trolling using incorrect assumptions or outlandishness with correlations has a purpose, ( and its not for information only)
Slakker is not a dumb as he sometimes sounds and is as wishy-washy as a Gov Politician...and I find his Trolling no longer strangely amusing and after sleeping on it and they way responded to my mentioning my Patent Attorney and saying something about "copycats" the other day which wasn't directed at him in the UIDS thread ( but now it is in this UAOS thread) I do feel there is an agenda behind it all. AND the "information gathering" is to find a "workaround" to the UAOS Patent..
@Slakker if you want more information from me on UAOS then make this declaration " I or any of my associates have no interest designing a similar product or using any Technology of the UAOS for monetary gain"
Then I will proceed to answer your questions..

All I did was drive the car and email Paul the data.

My 2003 C4 3.6 engine died as a result of sucking oil in to Cylinder 1 when the factory AOS died. (Diaphragm was blown) and best theory is
that lifted cylinder pressure high enough to crack the cylinder, Obviously with the 996 engine, we will never know. But there was no other damage.
I also owned a 2006 BMW 330Xi ,,, There is nothing superior about the BMW setup it has screwed up many many engines, has
numerous failure modes including the coolant pipes breaking and having to add a insulation wrap around their version of
the air oil seperator to keep it from freezing when water vapor builds up in really cold weather. (a FACTORY "Cold weather option")
Well known issue in the BMW crowd.. E46 cars need a 3500 dollar cooling system service about every 90K miles .. Which the AOS system on the car contributes to.
I've got about 12 years of road racing experience driving and about 30 just tuning and taking care of track cars..
You can do a lot of things on track that just don't work on street cars..
And sadly,, a fair number I've seen DONT help the car run better or do anything real.
It should also be mentioned that MANY really good mechanics have tried catch can solutions on the 996, none provided a real improvement.
So Cudos to Porschetech3!! IMHO in the scheme of running a Porsche at all its not a big hit..
Hell it cheaper than buying new quality pads and rotors for a 4 corner brake job...
Cheers///

Yes !!! Someone could take the most relevant Technical threads and redact all the bull**** from them and post them as "stickies"..You could even leave the complete threads with all the bull**** in it for anyone who wants to read that...Are you volunteering??

@Porschetech3 I have recommended your products multiple times, invited you to my home technical group, introduced you when you accepted, and have now purchased a UAOS (didn't want this to be a complete waste of your time) and am now a customer. You in turn have been a great technical resource over the years and therefore I consider us somewhat "even". As for intentions, I will always be transparent, all you have to do is ask. The marketing hyperbole I've seen and acting like a victim every time @zbomb asks for data, leads me to believe that you are either hiding something, or just getting bad marketing advice. Because it is the same tactics that I see out of people that do have something to hide.
Commercially, I am only a threat to you if ALL of the following conditions are met:
Even then, I'm guessing it would be a couple of years out before we would get to it, at best. You already have the solution and best case we would be providing an alternative that was a few hundred cheaper and less complicated to troubleshoot. Worst case would be it was technically inferior and we never released it because our data told us so. So I won't say never, but the odds appear to be less than .1% as I think there are other areas that have a lot more room for improvement and you are in the best position to continue solving this one. Is that good enough to hear the rest of the story?

- I think I see a more efficient way to solve the problem that doesn't infringe on your patent
- That you have stated that you don't have any intentions of pursuing a more efficient way to solve the problem
- That that there is enough additional benefit to the Porsche community to justify the effort

Well congrats Skip.
You have made enough impact on the M9X community to FRIGHTEN some product and service providers. Seems that Slakker is in charge of dirty tricks and reconnaissance.
Slacker, who's your partner. Might as well tell us.
