Hey Skip, was wondering if you knew when the UAOS CFN kit will be available again. I am ok with the carbon fiber accumulator vs the aluminum one. I will also be ordering the drain back option as well. Just trying to keep the price down. Thanks.

Dude - I am cheap and value oriented, so it is very rare I would advocate for the gucci part... Get the alum accumulator, it is entirely worth the money, The construction is vastly superior to the alternative.

@c210rg the contract I had with the company who I hired to make the Carbon Fiber/Nylon Accumulators had ran out and they tried to jack the price on them. I already had George making the CNC Billet Aluminum ones which are much more robust and beautiful that I discontinued the Carbon Fiber/Nylon ones.
You will not be disappointed !!!
CNC Billet Black Anodized Aluminum Accumulator with "Cotes De Geneve" finish
Thank you both Porschetech3 and Zbomb, I have no doubt it's worth it. The carbon fiber one was $250 less and was thinking of other things to spend money on that's all. I will order the now standard UAOS and be very happy. Thanks again for a great product.
I have ordered the UAOS with drain back. Will I be receiving a confirmation email or can you just tell me I am all set, either way works for me. Thanks.

Thank you for the shipping info. I knew I forgot something, 2003 C4S Tiptronic. I am going to do the "blow-by-test" before install. My manometer readings are a bit low right now, 3.89 inH2O. Either I have a leak or possibly my new engine didn't get the proper ring break in. We shall see, also want to add data to your blow by thread.

Thank you, yes, -3.89 inH20 is lower than expected on the factory AOS system. I will be watching/interested for your test results
Hey Skip and others, Got pretty far this weekend with the UAOS install. Last manifold bolt was not to bad getting out, I used a small 10mm wrench. The hard bolt on the AOS was 5mm socket screw, that made that easier. The tough time I had was getting the most forward manifold bolt started, my manifold was being pushed outward and it made starting the bolt and getting it down far enough to get a wrench back on it rather difficult, but i finally got it.
The problem I am having is with the new tube going reward from the new sealed AOS to the accumulator pushing the brake booster hose up into the roof of the engine compartment. It is pretty tight now and I have not raised the engine back up. I don't see how it's going to fit, I tried other ways of routing, but it didn't seem to work either.
The other problem is when I close my deck lid, the fan hits the new remote AOS. With about 2 inch's to go it hits pretty hard. I thought about cutting the hose from the remote AOS to the intake plenum to shorten it up a bit but that gives me less wiggle room to make that tight bend from the AOS to the plenum.
It was all pretty straight forward up to here, any help you guys can give me is very much appreciated. I've included some pictures of my problem areas.
For the aluminum/nylon breather hose , the aluminum part should be angled down more away from the power brake hose. You should be able to twist it some in the nylon to clear.
I know its it's a tight fit, but everything is on a Porsche...lol
PS. you can also slightly shorten the rubber hose from the back of the regulator to the intake, that will set the regulator back further to get more fan clearance..

Hey Skip, it is a factory deck lid. The hose from the sealed AOS is hitting the intake manifold toward the front of the engine, so it wont go down any further and pushes it up against the brake booster line. I looked at all the install pictures hear and it didn't seem anyone else had this issue. I will keep playing with it and see where I get, just thought you or someone might of had this issue and had a simple solution. Yes it's all fairly tight but I'm use to that. Thanks again.

Spoiler
I had the same problem with my 2002 C4S Tiptronic and solved it.
Just have the brake hose tube under the tube from AOS to UAOS-Catchtank

Ya that's where I ended up at to make it work. Thank you for the suggestion. Someone else may run into the same problem and will see your post, so good to have it documented.
Yes, running UNDER will work just well, but the offset in the Custom Aluminum/Nylon pipe is designed to go down and over at a 45 degree angle to clear the brake hose and align with original routing.
Some adjustment may be necessary, but as always "more than one way to skin a cat"..
