Default New seats

So, I finally got tired of my shabby grey seats, and installed a set of 991 GTS Sport seats. By far the best non-mechanical mod I have yet done to my 99.
Super comfortable, of course, but you are truly cradled an feel like part of the car. Amazing, too that 991 seats basically drop in to the old 996 body. Gotta love it!

@Schnellmacher
Those look remarkably good and period correct. I love that the Germans typically don’t fix what ain’t broke. The seat rails are an example of great design and backward compatibility.

After having this repair kit for several years I finally installed it. Easy to install and the sheen and texture match the factory parts. And no nanny label.

Took her to the track in Savannah! Drizzled most of the time but being on track is good for the soul no matter the conditions!

Resting after a fun morning

Roebling Road colors.

Last raced (Formula Fords) there in 1990. One of my favorite tracks. Hoping to do a DE there in 2024.

Yeah, it's been drizzly the past couple of days. Nice to see you're enjoying your C4S this time of year. Looks nice.

Thanks to Jandackson for the tip on the replacement visor mirror units. JUST what I needed. I just need to make sure the gray is the right color

You definitely should, as you said it is a great track, lots of nuances to get it right.

Ready for the 4 hour drive home after a great weekend!

Awesome. I want to do exactly this and just need to find the right set for sale. Any info/tips on the electronics side?

@Einsteiger mine were black. No experience with the other colors.
I cannot believe how excited I am about this fix tho. It just feels good to bring the car back to what it should be.

I fell victim to the dreaded broken oil filler a few weeks ago. I installed a new one this weekend; and installed the proper seal in the lid for the 997 airbox snorkel.
